Dennis Adler, a life-long Oregonian, has been a contributing cartoonist for local and national papers, for The Northwest Examiner and King Features Syndicate, NY. He is currently a regular cartoonist for Reminisce Magazine, a publication from Readers' Digest. His whimsical illustration style has proved popular in a variety of books, posters, greeting cards and t-shirts. A recent collaborative effort with children's book author Mike Thaler produced 12 books of illustrated Bible stories with titles such as "David and Bubblebath-Sheba and other Bible Stories to Tickle Your Soul" and "Action Heroes of the Bible: The Sermonators."
Some of Dennis' most-popular previous projects, such as the Rabi Rosenberg greeting cards, are currently out-of-print and unavailable, but several others are offered on this web site, most notably the "High Country" prints--a satirical look at the relationships among humans, animals and the environment.
Among his friends, Dennis is known for his love of vintage furnishings, visual puns and saddle shoes. New projects are constantly bubbling in his creative brain, so check back often for new offerings.
